Authentic Stories from Diners
I visited this place about 15 years ago, and after making a reservation this time, I wondered if the quality was still the same. Upon arrival, I started with the garnaalkroket, which comes as two small pieces. It wasn’t bad, but I found it a bit overpriced for €20. I ordered a carafe of red wine (about 50 cl for €18–20). For the main course, I chose the Brochette de Pottekijker — a huge skewer made of lamb, beef, and chicken, easily around 300–350 grams. If you visit, I’d recommend not eating too much beforehand, as finishing this skewer alone is quite a challenge. The taste and seasoning were excellent. It’s served with French fries. The restaurant has Wi-Fi, but the connection isn’t very strong, and regular 4G signal doesn’t work well inside either.
